Otto Projects was created to make thoughtful residential design more accessible. We design compact, energy-efficient homes that are beautiful, practical and ready to adapt to real Australian sites.

Our homes begin as carefully resolved standard designs. That means the major architectural decisions have already been considered, from room proportions and storage to natural light, passive orientation and connection to the outdoors.

Starting with an established design can make the process clearer and more efficient than beginning with a blank page. You can understand the layout, appearance and likely scope of the home before committing to a full documentation package.

We believe a smaller home can still feel generous. Good design is not about adding more rooms. It is about making every square metre work harder.
